Not quite college buddies
Dwyane Wade went and got The King and some flaky big man named Chris Bosh this summer, and as much as I hate it, it’ll probably make his team better. In the same regard, if I can make my blog better with a couple high-priced additions, then why not? With that, I’m proud to announce two new editions in the form of a couple old college buddies and fellow sports enthusiasts, Mike Renusz and Mark Wirerzbicki. You may remember Wierzbicki from my 2008 YouTube vid “Man drinks Dr. Pepper”, and as for Renusz…well you’ve probably never heard of him, but be assured he’s skipping out on some huge business meeting to be here. Yeah, so don’t be surprised to find him working at Kenny Rogers’ Roasters in the near future.
Renusz will be handling much of the hockey and Junior B lacrosse beat while counteracting my love of Kyle Orton with some of his own for the San Diego Chargers. As for Wierzbicki, he’ll mostly be given free rein to write whatever he pleases after predicting the Boston Celtics’ 2007-08 championship eight whole months before it actually went down. A visionary, one might say.
I’m also in the process of locking down local funnyman and creator of the infamously idle blog,” Yeah, totally…right??”, Adam “Sully” Sullivan. Sully is known for several of his humour pieces, including his NBA-NHL comparison and his “A.J. Burnett: Not unlike your girlfriend” classic from 2008. For now, stay tuned — the contract is in the works.
Needless to say, it’s an exciting time here at my home office. Now let’s see what these fellas have to say.
