Think last week’s crowds were a little small for the White Sox and Angels? Well, prepare for something even worse: The powerhouse Kansas City Royals are in tonight to start a three-game series with sweet-swinging Lyle Overdue and the Jays. Can we break the 10,000 mark in any of these ones? It’ll be interesting to see how many are on hand tonight for the opener, when Brandon Morrow and Brian Bannister meet for a match up that promises to be epic.
The Jays, by the way, dropped the finale 3-1 to the Angels yesterday despite another masterpiece from Ricky Romero, who gave up just five hits and a run in eight innings before Scott Downs and an Overbay error helped put it away in the ninth. Adam Lind hit a two-out solo shot in the bottom half to get the Jays on the board, but with Overbay a couple batters away and representing what would’ve been the tying run, this one was never in reach. Ervin Santana had his first good outing in three starts this season for the Angels, going the distance and coming a strike away from a shutout to improve to 1-2. Romero dropped to 1-1, but his 1.57 ERA through three starts ain’t all that bad.
Anyway, back to the Royals: It’ll be Morrow and Bannister tonight, Dana Eveland and Kyle Davies tomorrow and Shaun Marcum and Zack Greinke in what actually has the makings of good match up in the finale on Wednesday afternoon. Do you really wanna miss this series?

I think Wednesday’s game will be over 10,000….it’s kid’s day. I would like to be at it, but I may have to bend an arm or two.
I’m getting into the fantasy ball teams (GOD HELP ME, I HAVE NO LIFE!!!!!!!), and the players doing the best are KC players. Overbay AND Snider both are in the cold category. So, that’s all I have to know!!!!
