In case you missed it, here’s footage of Manu Ginobili making quick work a bat that dared to fly near the court in Saturday night’s Spurs-Kings game. As expected, PETA is on the case, hoping to do to Ginobili as he did to the precious bat. The following statement was released this afternoon:
“To bludgeon a 4-ounce animal to death, it takes either a small man or a totally unthinking one–with no respect or consideration for lives humbler than his own. This is a time when athletes in particular need to be on their best behavior around any animal and show that they have brains and a heart, not just reactionary brawn.”
So, they’re you have it. Manu Ginobili = a really, really horrible person. He’s probably less human than A-Rod in centaur form. Possibly the worst guy in the world, to be precise.
i love peta but sometimes i really hate them…. its a freaking bat!!

And a bat that survived at that! By the way, Ginobili has to get 16 rabies shots because of this just to play it safe…
