DeShawn Stevenson, getting the attention he craves
It turns out Stephen Jackson wasn’t the only NBA player out to prove he’s completely lost his mind on media day. DeShawn Stevenson, famous for being a statuatory rapist and for his “I can’t feel my face routine” whenever he makes a three-pointer in a Wizards loss, unveiled a new set of tattoos in Washington Monday. Included were a five dollar bill across his neck (feat. Abe Lincoln), a Frankenstein-eque crack on his forehead and a backwards Pittsburgh Pirates logo on his left cheek.
If nothing else, Stevenson’s new tats should draw some attention, since the six points he averaged on 31% shooting last season isn’t likely to draw any. It has also been a couple years since Stevenson lost to fellow-idiot teammate Gilbert Arenas in a three-point shootout with Arenas shooting with one hand, so this might get him back in the news.
