I’m sure a lot of you realized my Jose Bautista rant the other day was a play off the Keith Hernandez “second spitter” incident on Seinfeld. To give credit where it’s due, above is the scene where Kramer and Newman recall the fateful day. By the way, here’s something I’ve always wondered: With all these ball teams flying around all season, don’t you think there’d be a plane crash? If you think about it — 30 teams, 162 games — you’d think an entire team would get wiped out.
