I had some famous meltdowns on the mound as a little leaguer, but none quite like this. After throwing a couple wild pitches and blowing the lead, this kid asks if he can hit the next batter, then says he wants to come out of the game and sulks when he has to play first base, the toughest position in all of baseball. Ted Lilly and David Wells would be proud…

If that were you, you wouldn’t have asked if you could hit the next kid…you would’ve done it. I still have the tennis ball scars to back that up–I’ll never hit behind Brad in the batting order again!
