The Raps open the season with LeBron on Oct. 28
Oh NBA schedule makers, what did the Raptors ever do to you? The league released its slate of games for the 2009-10 season yesterday, and it’s pretty clear someone must have something against Chris Bosh & friends — Toronto plays eight of their first 12 games on the road, all against Western Conference teams. The four home games aren’t exactly a walk in the park either, with dates against Cleveland, Orlando, Detroit and Chicago. The Cavs in town to open the season October 28.
Looking ahead, things seem to get easier come February, when the Raptors play seven of 10 games at home and the three road dates include Indiana, New Jersey and Oklahoma City. Then again, things got easier last year around the same time, but the Raps were already buried by then. Last year’s team was a nightmare though, so we’ll see if things are different this time around. Let’s see what happens!
