Last time I checked in with Zack Greinke, he was doing pretty, pretty, pretty good. That was just over a month ago, and not much has changed since. Greinke, 8-1 with a 1.10 ERA in 82 innings this season, gets the ball for Kansas City tonight at Rogers Centre as the Jays and Royals start a three-game set.
The Royals aren’t as hot as they were when they took three of four from the Jays in late-April — they come to town on a seven-game losing streak that has left them at 23-30 and fourth in the talent-laden AL Central. Ricky Romero, who’s been downright nightmarish in two starts since being activated from the DL, faces Greinke tonight, while Scott Richmond and Luke Hochevar battle tomorrow and some guy named Roy Halladay faces the great Kyle Davies on Sunday.

I’m not sure but I’m pretty Pretty Pretty Sure that is a Larry David Quote from Curb.. if So Well Played. Just like last time we faced Greinke in KC, His average is going to Sky Rocket another .40 tonight!!

Haha, you got it man. If you watch closely, you’ll be able to pick out numerous Seinfeld/Curb Your Enthusiasm lines in the blog. By the way, nice call on Greinke — he went up .45!
Thanks for the comment!
