That's why he's the King
Hedo Turkoglu may be a crazee-eyez killa, but LeBron is still the King. Orlando overcame a big first half deficit for the second straight time in the East Finals to grab a one point lead on Turkoglu’s pull-up with one second to go, but could only sit back and witness King James apply the finishing touches with one of the most dramatic shots you’ll ever seen. LeBron’s three at the horn gave Cleveland a 96-95 win and evened the series at a game apiece.
I think it’s safe to say if the Cavs go on to win it all this season, LeBron’s dagger may go down as one of the biggest shots in playoff history. Jordan over Craig Ehlo? Jordan over Bryon Russell? Jordan over Bryon Russell Part II? Alright, those aren’t gonna be forgotten anytime soon, so maybe we can start a new chapter featuring King James.
I’ll be honest — I had Cleveland taking this series in four straight, but now I’m looking forward to this shifting back to Orlando and eventually going the distance.
