That's what I'm saying, guy…

Mark Cuban has either gone soft, or is fearing repercussions (I'm guessing the latter)

Yesterday I reported that Mark Cuban had ratted out Denver’s Kenyon Martin to his mom after the Nuggets’ win in Dallas Saturday night. Well, in a surprising turn of events, the Mavs actually won last night and Cuban apologized to Martin and his mom, albeit on his blog. I don’t know of which I’m more surprised.

Cuban’s apology came after the Mavs’ 119-117 win last night, and after Martin’s mom and girlfriend (who happens to be rap legend Trina) had been doused with beer and obscenities throughout much of the game. Carmelo Anthony’s wife also apparently got into it with some Dallas fans before leaving in the fourth quarter. No worries, though, family and friends of Denver players — Cuban has offered up his private suite should the Mavs win Game 5 and send the series back to Dallas for another game. A nice move, I’ll say, though it’s unlikely the Mavs come away with another win.

Anyway, I’m sure Cuban is relieved that this situation is said and done, since Martin, a notorious thug/punk, had vowed to “take to care of it”. Then again, maybe he still will… (Heads up, Cuban)
