Paul Pierce and the Celtics live to see another day
To quote legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado, “All good things come to an end.” It was bound to happen tonight, unless, of course, the Bulls and Celtics played a game that went to infinity overtimes, which wasn’t out of the question, come to think of it. In the end, Boston came out on top in Game 7, 109-99, in a game that lasted a mere 48 minutes.
I said it a couple days ago and I’ll say it again — There’s really no use in playing the rest of the NBA Playoffs, because it won’t get any better than this (Come on LeBron and Kobe — prove me wrong!). Greatest series of all-time? Definitely the best I can remember in a long, long time.
