Miami bringing heat for real...
Rest assured Scott Vandenberg and other loyal readers that feared I was on a prolonged hiatus — I’m back. After a week and a bit in Miami, I’m ready to talk about A-Rod and other sports-related topics.
On a personal note, I was able to check out a few games down south — a couple World Baseball Classic matchups at Dolphin Stadium and my first NHL game in 119 years, a 3-1 Panthers win over the Leafs. Unfortunately, the only Heat game while I was in town was the first Saturday and my base camp passed on it for a Venezuela-Netherlands baseball matchup. Would’ve been nice to check out D-Wade that day — he had 50/10/11 in a triple overtime win.
