All hope is not yet lost, Raptors fans. Two days after being crushed by the 1994-95 Eastern Conference Champion Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Toronto bounced back with a 111-100 win against those same Knicks at the friendly confines of the Air Canada Centre this afternoon. It was quite an entertaining game — so entertaining, in fact, that I watched the whole 48 minutes, or about 44 minutes more than I watched Friday night.
The Raptors finally got their offense running and gunning, with Shawn Marion enjoying his best game yet in Toronto with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Andrea Bargnani, Chris Bosh and Jose Calderon also chipped in with double-doubles.
Of note, Larry Hughes made his debut for the Knicks after being picked up from Chicago in a deal for Tim Thomas last week. He wore number 0, which is coincidentally where his skill level would rank on a scale of 1-to-10.
Larry Hughes used to be a secret NBA Live superstar back when he was with the Cavs.
Marion pulling down 15 boards is definitely a nice thing to see.

I actually played a season with the Cavs on NBA Live 07…Hughes broke his foot and missed three months, then went down in the NBA Finals as well. Pretty realistic I’d say…
